Artist Biography
Born in Leeds in 1984.
Graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 2008 obtaining BA Hons in Fine Art Photography.
Professional Experience
• Photographer/Retoucher/Editor for Packshot Leeds Studio, working for Arcadia,
specifically Dorothy Perkins and Evans website photography. May 2010 – Present.
• Assistant Photographer for T-Shirt company Matthew The Horse on photo shoot
creating website fashion photographs. April 2010, Leeds.
• Artist Commission at The Glasgow Royal Infirmary from November 2008 – July
2009. The commission was consolidated with a permanent exhibition of 44 framed
photographs installed in the Link Corridor from May 2009. The commission
was funded by The Glasgow Royal Infirmary Appeals Trust.
• Stills Photographer for Short film made for Mogwai at Kelburn Castle, Glasgow in
March 2009. Director – Bryony Day.
• Artist Talk for the exhibition Futureproof at Street Level Gallery, Glasgow,
December 6th 2008.
• Commission for KPMG, May-July 2007.
Working with The Teenage Cancer Trust at The Beatson Western Scotland Cancer
Centre in Glasgow and St James’ Institute of Oncology in Leeds. Self-directed
Photographic project culminating into a series of large photographs for installation
at new boardrooms at KPMG, London.
• Assistant Photographer to Catherine Yass for preliminary photo shoot for ‘High
Wire’ Exhibition at CCA, Glasgow.
-Large scale 5x4” photo shoot at Red Road Tower Blocks, Springburn, Glasgow,
April 2007.
